Ben at 8 Months

It has been a while since I have posted any new pictures of the Buglet, here are some of the photos that I have taken of our Buglet more recently

Photography Events

Recently there has been a lot happening especially in my little photographic world, and I have been privileged enough to be able to do some paid events, which I have enjoyed immensely. Here is a look at what I have been busy with...

Pilanesberg

In July we decided to book our first family holiday to the Pilanesberg. Here are a few photos from that holiday. Bearing in mind that Ben was now the controlling force in our game drives, these are all that I could muster. We were very lucky to see Lion in the Pilanesberg - big fat lazy lions! We were also privileged enough to see a lot of Rhinos there both from far and up close - it makes me so sad that perhaps there will not be any more of them left on the planet sooner than we think.

Ben's Room

So please excuse the cell phone pictures, these days I am just too tired to wheel out the DSLR, which is a pity and I will fix that asap. But I thought I needed to put these up. Ben's room is finally done and his dad has worked his butt off getting everything ready while his mom (yours truly) has been woman down with king sized ankles and feet and pathetically debilitating preggy carpal tunnel syndrome. Anyway, on to the pics of Ben's Room

We have also given him a little chalkboard on the right of the cot - you know us first time parents? We are the ones who think that a. he is going to be a baby genius and able to read and write by 3 months and b. that he is actually going to confine his art to the chalkboard - ha ha ha ha ha! Yeah right!!

Cape Town Trip November 2011

The weather in Cape Town was just perfect when we went to visit at the end of November 2011. We were lucky enough to visit the Robben Island Museum as well. I think that all South Africans should visit this museum at least once in their lifetime.
